An idea during mid-2016 to change Green Elephant Collective's name and product offering turned into a complete rebranding exercise plus the building of a brand spanking new ecommerce store to go with it.

An exercise which we thought would only take around two months to execute, took closer to six months. So last night when Guy (our site developer) told us that the porting across process had finally started, that we were a few hours away from "go live"...in the words of Instagram, "Hashtag happy dance".

Welcome to Design Store. 

The team at Essentials magazine really put together a lovely November 2016 edition. Delicious recipes (the salmon fish fingers are a must!), easy crafty ideas to do with the kids over the coming holidays (pom-pom to do, hooray!) plus plenty of health and beauty related content. 

A super scatter selection includes one of our plush beauties in the mix. Essentials also put together a great moodboard for those wishing to breathe new life into their child's bedroom with some cute bedroom makeover ideas. 

Paging through the October 2016 print issue of Home/Tuis Magazine this morning and yay! Spotted our popular colourful cane chairs amongst some other stylish stoep beauties.

We sent one of our new blog contributors - Robyn Sluis-Cremer - to visit 100% Design South Africa in Johannesburg. This is what she had to say about the event.
