    A big thank you to well-known lifestyle blogger Kim Gray for including some Design Store products that she likes in recent online posts. 

    Kim likes the selection of furniture, homeware and bags that we stock, as well as our toys, furniture and decor selection for the kids. Design Store even made her Christmas wishlist!

    Some of the products mentioned, includes the versatile leather backpack by Burgundy Collective - which is definitely a style winner while not compramising on functionality while on outings.

    The James solid timber chair designed by James Mudge works well for dining, office and just any interior space.

    One of our designers, Mariëtte Kotzé, got one of her amazing art works featured in a recent Sunday Times Home issue. A beautiful selection of playful pink furniture and home accessories were featured on the Lifestyle pages.

    Among the curated offering was Mariëtte's Soundscape in Pink (60 x 85 cm unframed) limited edition art piece, which Design Store proudly stocks. 

    We are simply so pleased with the current soft and mink pinks trending in the home. This is a décor trend that we won't tire of soon.

    Design Store is super pleased to have two of the products which we proudly stock mentioned in the latest House and Leisure 'Tropical Modern' October 2017 issue.

    Design Store is lucky enough to have a number of products included in House and Leisure's June 2017 magazine themed 'The Design Issue'. 

    If you're the type of person to purchase magazines purely based on the cover's looks - then House and Leisure definitely gets this right, as I've purchased pretty much every issue during the last year. The monthly up-to-date and relevant design and home-focused content is simply a feast for the eyes. 

    Douglas and Douglas' trendy terracotta planter and marble side table are perfect for the tropical-inspired room, while the popular cane chair is a must-have for the glamorous space. 

    Design Store's exotic Nguni cowhide rugs fits into any decor theme in my opinion. 

    Perfect Imperfect's beautiful tassel basket adds an eclectic touch to any space. These baskets are perfect for storing absolutely anything  and it makes for a very pretty toys basket too.

    The team at Essentials magazine really put together a lovely November 2016 edition. Delicious recipes (the salmon fish fingers are a must!), easy crafty ideas to do with the kids over the coming holidays (pom-pom to do, hooray!) plus plenty of health and beauty related content. 

    A super scatter selection includes one of our plush beauties in the mix. Essentials also put together a great moodboard for those wishing to breathe new life into their child's bedroom with some cute bedroom makeover ideas. 

    It's simply such a honour seeing our mushroom scatter cushion (designed by Touchee Feelee) in the magazine as well as our new locally-made baby and toddler bedding sets (designed by Bunny and Clyde).

    Paging through the October 2016 print issue of Home/Tuis Magazine this morning and yay! Spotted our popular colourful cane chairs amongst some other stylish stoep beauties.

    The team from Home/Tuis have throughout the years always made such an effort to include and feature in their magazine mostly products made by local designers and artisans. A truly South African magazine and brand.  

    The magazine makes the lifestyle that it 'sells' more attainable and real to me.

    This is one of the reasons that Home/Tuis remains one of my most favourite home and decor magazines over the years.
