R2,150.00

Stylish cane chairs handmade by rural Malawians. These chairs are unique to Malawi and their timeless shape will suit any home or space.

Choosing the right colour for your chair is a personalised service. We can do any colour of your choice. Please supply us with the desired coral (or any other colour) paint code from one of the Plascon Velvaglo ranges. "Plascon Velvaglo contains Polytough™, a unique polyurethane enamel that cross-links to form a resilient protective barrier that is heat, steam, chip and stain resistant. It is an extremely tough premium quality paint that offers a protective and decorative finish."

The products are courier delivered door-to-door around South Africa. Note that the courier charge includes the R95 bubble-wrapping fee per chair.

A flat fee of R200 - R315 will be charged for Cape Town deliveries inclusive of up to 8 chairs. Please contact us first so that we can manually assist you during the check-out process so that the system doesn't overcharge you for your Cape Town delivery.

Should customers from elsewhere feel that the courier charge added automatically during check-out is too high - then kindly get in touch before finalising your order so that we can custom quote you for delivery.

Some furniture (particularly furniture living on the coast and exposed to heavy mists) can form a residue over time. Iron oxide stains in wood are usually dark spots caused by prolonged exposure to water or metal. The iron oxide reacts with the tannin in the wood and stains it black. The best way to restore this would be to use Oxalic Acid. You can buy it from any hardware store – then simply just dissolve it in water and brush the affected area. Place the chair in the sun to dry and re-varnish it.
